Suffering is common across the world! Few teachings help you cope better! You can thrive too..take responsibility (Karma) seriously

Recently, I attended a workshop done by an organization called Tvame (New tab (tvame.me))

They have designed a weekend course that runs for 4 weeks ...Details are available on their website. (New tab (tvame.me))

In this program, every participant gets enough time during the course as well as in follow up 1-1 meetings with Tvame instructors, every week , post session, where they address key questions, concerns, worries of the participants with respect to what they learnt in the previous weekend session. These sessions are immensely helpful... plays crucial role in success of this program..

Begin within is the what is the call to action for this course and it helps us look within and understand why we are what we are all physical, emotional, social. etc. levels that we are and why we struggle with life events so much. Is this because, we don't have idea about who we are as lives (born on earth), other than  genetics and other codes that determine and affect our self (body, emotions and instincts), there is a past life/lives karma and connections of all those past lives (punya and paap karma) that manifest in present life.

While this course doesn't do a Akashik records /past life/lives reading , it helps us INTROSPECT and take PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY for what happened to us in lives (Brian Tracy said, 90% life outcomes are result of what we do to ourselves than others to do us) .

Stoics , particularly Marcus Aurelius  said, see quote below- The source is within us...made of genetics and sanchit karma that manifests as Prarabdha karma and we keep creating Agami karma (Om Swami on 4 kinds of Karma) as this course of Tvame will tell you. And put together the story of these 3 different karmas which create this vicious or holy cycle of life is called KARMA YOGA. <<< Watch this video for quick yet powerful understanding of different forms of Karma!

Anthropologists, Psychologists and Philosophers have contributed to the research and literature on Karma and vicious cycle of life , suffering and death that a human soul undergoes. In fact, personally, I believe what Buddha said, common theme of life is "DUKKHA". Tvame's course can trigger your interest in Buddhism, Sanatana and even Stoicism...all finally reach the same truth, though quite scientifically.

Renowned Psychologist (a medical doctor) Carl Jung - Wikipedia was the first in his field to pay serious attention to the East, drawing deeply from theories of karma and reincarnation for the development of his influential works on psychiatry and religion. Just how deeply Jung drew has been a hidden subject, until recently.

To explore more of what Jung found on the subject of Karma and reincarnation, read this MUST READ article. This is an eye opener perspective from a Western Psychologist.

You may like to check courses currently on offer from Tvame on their website tvame.me

I recommend you attend this course, if you have a feeling you are suffering and don't know WHY?

Some answers you get here and that's a beautiful beginning.

My takes on my learning from this program is here in this short video

PS: My underlying emotions today are , being somber and being hopelessness! I am living it, since I heard this morning about one of my fellow participant's to Tvame's workshop, lost her only child, a 9 year old boy to the cruel Dengue and followed heart failure. This single mother's pain is bigger than any Dukkha that one can imagine! Any condolence is meaningless and empty at this time..

If there is God anywhere, he must be hiding! He has no answer...He can't be this cruel! May this child rest in peace! More and more power to the mother to endure this "suffering"!

Why Krishna didn't save Abhimanyu?  Maybe this Medium article has the answer to this tough question..

Hire for basic human values that are "strongly embedded"; dare yourself to develop that man/woman!

Hiring is the toughest job, especially if it is for a role that impacts many in the organization by it's abilities to influence or interfere with the existing power structure of the organization.

Roles in senior leadership are often more complex to find for as well as fit into. That's the test of organization's stated culture vs lived one.

Insecurity seeps into and we all are humans...I have my many insecurities and it takes wisdom to wipe them off slowly.

So, when we hire people into such roles, we must do a panel and roundtable multi-layer, multi rounds of interview and do a thorough strengths vs weaknesses analysis..

Give serious thoughts on what benefits you can leverage and what risks you need to be worried or not worried about. Hire anyone and you have a bucket of risks ...risks of many kinds..

Gallup asks us to focus on strengths and to be leveraged and developed and not get too worried about the weaknesses (though Gallup calls them strengths, which, however, consciously/unconsciously, may not have been preferred or used often by the person concerned) It is a matter of choice before us, as managers, who care to develop people by helping them structure/review/reflect on a few thoughts and actions (just because we have learnt them through experiences), we must consider human as something that can be reshaped, harnessed.

Even weaknesses and shortcomings can be worked on to keep them as watchlist for the person himself and not to allow them to come in the way of their development..
