IT Staffing Industry---the glittering reality...

<<LinkedIn profile of Xpheno co-founder reads like this: Specialist Staffing in 2017 & enabled 32 Greenfield GCCs entry. Today, 300 specialist recruiters of Xpheno put 5000 professionals to work every month!>> Xpheno's growth is exceptional and laudable too... It's PwC , Deloitte , ANSR Zinnov , and a lot of others who may be enabling these GCCs to set their feet in India! What's this enabling business of GCCs? MNCs in India already in commercial business do also set up their GCCs besides many MNCs, who enter with a GCC set up. Wonder what this enabling means when it is stated by a staffing firm like Xpheno , etc.? The quick answer is "staffing", right? 😅 Let's go to the next part: 300 recruiters put 5000 staff to work every month... So, in a year, 60000. Let's do some math to uncover what this "Enabling Plus" business earns for the promoters. Median IT staff salary: Rs. 13 lacs (most Indian IT service firms have th...

CHRO for Rs.1 Cr salary in Mumbai: Is it too good or just OK?

In a recent report by a consulting firm, ANSR,  which is watching GCCs in India, it was mentioned that more than 100 staff of these 1700 GCCs make more than $1 million in annual salary. Compare this ₹1 crore annual salary in Mumbai with the CHRO of a $100 billion conglomerate, and you can easily tell it is way below even the median wages of the CHRO of an Indian company with annual revenue of $5 billion and below. You may remember, some 15 years back, Naukri.com had the compensation band ending at ₹50 L +, which now is ₹1 Cr+, and we know CXOs don't hunt jobs on Naukri.com . Some 20 years ago, it was profanity for an IIM guy to even place his profile on Naukri.com 😅... How much things have changed but not for some CHRO salaries 🤔

Below the refill rate: Why birth rates in India in most states have fallen below the refill rate?

This birth rate data may shock you.... https://lnkd.in/gyhncCSJ Replacement Rate-2.1% Only 9 states in India are making this number, or slightly better! Tamil Nadu is at the bottom (1.4%). Highest per capita, highest per capita industrial production, highest percentage of women at work in India, etc.etc..... they are playing chess and winning grandmasters... Bihar is at the top...we are beating Baba Ji's state 💪 .... Another very striking and interesting fact is that, in all states, Rural ferility is below or at best at par with urban fertility rate... In top-ranking states, urban people are making more babies than rural one's.... What's happening here? When did this trend reverse? Don't blame Nitish Kumar ji. He had tried explaining FP mechanisms in the assembly, then he was lambasted for his statement, and the poor guy apologized too.
